Running every couple of months at the Beaney in central Canterbury, this is a chance for local families to come along and get some new books for their shelves!

We call it a book swap, but there's no requirement to bring a book and nobody is counting how many you take away. The event is completely free to access and we will generally run a free session of Bookish Board Games or storytelling crafts alongside it, so there's absolutely no pressure on the people browsing the book swap.

We accept small quantities of donations of good condition picture books, middle grade and YA novels for the book swap. The easiest way to donate is to just come along to our next event on November 7th from 12 - 4.30pm and drop off books to the Orange Room, opposite the toilets in the Beaney.
