About the event
Bookish Board Games is BACK! In partnership with The Beaney, we are so excited to be able to offer this completely free afternoon learning to play amazing bookish board games. Run by the Canterbury Children's Literature Festival team, we will also have a childrens & teen book swap alongside the board games, so bring along a book or two you no longer want and swap them for some new additions to your shelves.
There will be a range of different board and card games suitable for all ages from about 3+, and you can play on your own, or join a group! Our team will be on hand to advise if you get stuck, and if you'd like to learn to play Library Labyrinth, please book a slot at one of our 'learn to play' sessions!
Learn to Play Library Labyrinth
This is a very casual, friendly environment, so you can drop in and out throughout the afternoon, or come and stay for the whole session!
If you don't have any books to bring along to the book swap, you are still more than welcome to take some away with you as well.
