At Bookshop Crawl UK CIC, our response to the crisis in reading enjoyment levels among children was to establish Canterbury Children's Literature Festival, and the feedback we've had from our first event in July shows that what we have done in 2025 is the beginning of starting to help make a real, positive change in the way that children, teenagers and adults engage with stories and the power and importance of literacy. As a Festival Friend, you'll be a huge part of helping to keep that going, and enabling our plans to expand and provide opportunities for local schools and communities throughout the year. Support from Festival Friends and sponsors means that we will be able to provide local children, schools and families with all of the incredible opportunities that we have access to, at a cost that is accessible to them.
