Graphic Novel Project
We are collecting graphic novels to distribute to children across Kent, in partnership with local groups and organisations. If you have graphic novels in good condition that you would like to donate, please contact us below to arrange collection.

Graphic novels are colourful,
accessible,
& fun!
They help teach vocabulary & comprehension skills
They can be a gateway and a bridge, and they're full of amazing stories
Graphic novels can help create lifelong readers!
But they're also expensive, so we want to give as many kids as possible the chance to discover them!
Who is the project for?
The project is aimed to help a variety of different situations and circumstances including:
-
children and families where books represent more of a luxury, and where there are fewer books at home.
-
children who are struggling with reading for pleasure, for any reason
-
children and young people in specialist provision, or who are deemed to be 'at risk'
Who can apply to the project?
Any school, teacher, group or organised activity based in Kent can apply to us for free graphic novels for any child aged 6 - 18! While applications are received through schools and community groups, graphic novels should be given to children to own themselves, as book ownership and the expense of graphic novels for families is one of the thigns this project has been set up to help with. Currently our pot is limited, and so we will help everywhere possible, and as the project grows we hope to be able to support more and more children and teens.
