Time Travel Adventure with Claire Linney

Join award winning author Claire Linney on a Time Travel Adventure! We are thrilled to be bringing Claire to visit local schools during the 2026 Canterbury Children's Literature Festival. Claire can offer individual class workshops or whole year group events. Timings can be adjusted to suit schools' needs, please book morning or afternoon and we will be in touch.

An interactive session that introduces Claire's love of Black British history and inspiration for writing Time Tub Travellers. Then there is a time travelling trip to Tudor London and the Victorian Circus to look at the different Black British historical figures that are brought to life in her books. She discusses time travel and time machines before finishing with a reading and time for lots of questions.

Recommended for Year 2 upwards.
