Join Sheena Dempsey for an interactive, fun-filled session with a behind the scenes insight into how she makes her books, two drawalongs and a penguin quiz!
Recommended age 6+, younger children welcome too
About the Author
Sheena Dempsey is an Irish author and illustrator from Cork. Since graduating from Kingston in 2010 with an MA in illustration, she has illustrated dozens of books for children. Her new graphic novel series Pablo and Splash follows the lives of two time-travelling penguins who are best friends but polar opposites. There are three books in the series to date and the first has been shortlisted for a British Book Award. She lives in Folkestone, Kent with her husband Mick and their perpetually ravenous greyhound Jeremy.
