Improvised Poetry with Jonathan Sellars

Jonathan Sellars returns to Canterbury Children's Literature Festival! Following a fantastic session at our 2025 event, we are bringing him in to local schools. Jonathan can offer class visits for smaller groups, where the children will have chance to get involved in creating and performing their own poetry. Timings can be adjusted to suit schools' needs, please book morning or afternoon and we will be in touch.

The session brings poetry to life with a fully immersive experience. Children will have the chance to listen to, act out, write, and perform poems.  It's incredibly fun and designed to get imaginations turned up to eleven.

Recommended for Year 2 upwards. 

School events are provided free to local schools with Canterbury Children's Literature Festival covering the costs.
