About the Authors
Katie and Kevin Tsang are bestselling and award-winning children's authors. Kevin was born in Copenhagen to Hong Kong Chinese parents, and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. Katie is originally from Southern California and has also lived in Atlanta, Hawaii, and Hong Kong. They met in 2008 while studying at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and they currently live in London with their young daughters. Katie and Kevin's first book together was SAM WU IS NOT AFRAID OF GHOSTS, which was adapted for the stage by Polka Theatre in London in 2024. As well as the SAM WU IS NOT AFRAID series, they are the co-writers of the bestselling DRAGON REALM series, the DRAGON FORCE trilogy, and the SPACE BLASTERS books. Katie also writes young adult novels as Katherine Webber. Prior to being a full-time author, Katie worked at the reading charity BookTrust, and Kevin has a background in healthcare technology. They are both are passionate about writing engaging and inclusive fiction that gets children excited about reading.
